It’s Raining!

It is finally raining here in CA and I couldn’t be happier. Normally we listen to books on tape at night, but not last night! We got to listen to the rain. Seriously the best thing ever.

This is from one of our local weather men:

It has been a dry year for us. Which not only is bad for all the farmers and whatnot, but it totally sucks for me because I LOVE the rain. I hate it when people say that we are in for not so great weather. I say BOOOOO to you. Rain is wonderful and perfect and it means snow in the mountains which keeps my family in business!

So anyways, I could go on, but I won’t.

Happy Wednesday! Today we eat cake! No really. We are going to eat some of our future wedding cake. čÖé

Say Hello To My New Favorite Skinny Jeans.

Does it have to be Thursday already? I am not ready to go back to work on Tuesday yet. INEEDMORETIME!!

Anyways, the weather hear has been so bipolar. Like fo’ realz. Last weekend it was 111 degrees and then the next day it was 70 degrees (the one day we were at the house boat and freezing on the water while wake surfing and tubing…). It has been a pretty consistent 85is degrees though this week. Which is not bad. Its not super hot so I don’t mind, even though I would much rather have the 70 degree weather.

But that day that is was in the 70s was awesome. I got to wear my new favorite skinny jeans of all time that I got in my last stitch fix. I know, I know, I haven’t shared that yet. I will get to it soon, I promise. Anyways, here they are. Totally perfect.

Fabulous.

I am so happy. It has finally rained today! Call me crazy, but I LOVE the rain. We haven’t had any for a while and I am thrilled that it came today. I hope there is more soon.

Sacramento has crazy weather. We don’t get snowstorms and most of the time when it rains, it doesn’t stay that long. We also get 110* plus during the summer and get down to the 30s in the winter. I don’t know how my body does it, but it adjusts. We had a longer summer than I would have liked and when it hit 70* ┬áI was thrilled and put on long sleeves. But now that it is winter, when it hits 55* I am dying of heat. I am the girl who chooses comfort over fashion EVERY time. So this past weekend, I was thrilled that I could wear shoes that didn’t require socks.

PS. My bangs are outrageously long. Don’t judge them.
